A new 5-story skilled nursing facility is being built on Alexian Village’s Signal Mountain campus.  

The new facility is served by water source heat pumps, energy recovery units for fresh air ventilation, fluid coolers, a boiler system for domestic hot water, and back up generator for emergency power.  

The building became available for use in May 2014.  

In addition, an existing assisted living building and an independent building are being renovated.  These renovations include new HVAC equipment installations and verification.
