HVAC and BAS Design
Compass has 4 Licensed Professional Engineers on staff that specialize in HVAC and Building Automation Systems. We integrate and rotate design functions as part of our in-house training program while incorporating direct field support with all of our staff.
Design Philosophy
Field Verification and Client Integration
Compass follows a standard practice of verifying existing conditions thru onsite visual inspections along with integrating client’s key personnel into the design discussions and reviews to accurately identify and address issues involved on a project.
Interaction With Contracting Team to Improve the Project Design
The most successful projects are those that incorporate input from the entire project team. Our focus is to always make good decisions based on accurate information while being open to new ideas & solutions from all involved.
Quick Response to questions and issues
As challenges arise, we believe in a quick response (normally onsite) to help identify the issue and determine the best path forward. Working as a team to identify issues early provides the maximum ability to resolve with minimal impact.
Premium Close-Out Package
With extensive time spent servicing and upgrading existing facilities, the value of accurate record documents cannot be over stated. As such, it is our standard approach to improve delivery of the Client’s Close-Out package, including:
Project Equipment and Operations Manual
Record Drawings Including a Final Walk-Through and Inspection
Color Coded Record Drawings in Equipment Rooms
