The corporate office building of EPB was built in 2006.  It is a 7-story building and roughly 140,000 sqft including its own parking garage.  

In 2009, the decision to achieve LEED certification under the category of Existing Building, Operations and Maintenance (EBOM) was made.  Over the next 3 years, investigation, documentation and tracking of each activity of the building was compiled and presented to the USGBC.   Tracking waste disposal and recycling, water usage, HVAC systems maintenance and operation, as well as utility data was collected.  

In 2013, EPB was presented a plaque by the USGBC to be the first building in the southeast to achieve LEED certification by an alternate compliance path for EBOM.
